2020 FACE Fine Arts Scholarships
F.A.C.E., Fine Arts, County of Effingham, is proud to award up to $3,500 to EFFINGHAM COUNTY Jr. High, High School and College-bound students who show an interest and desire to excel in any of a wide variety of artistic, fine-arts mediums.
Summer Camp Scholarships
Due to the COVID-19 situation and the disruption of normal summer programs, FACE, unfortunately, will not be offering the Summer Camp Scholarships this year

F.A.C.E. will award three summer scholarships up to $500 each.
Eligibility
- Must be a currently enrolled 7th to 11th grader in an Effingham County School
- Must be actively involved in Fine Arts programs such as, but not limited to, choirs, art clubs, bands, orchestra, theater, dance or associated arts
- Must complete the application form and return it to FACE by May 16, 2020
Russ & Barb Kelley Memorial Scholarship for Theater Arts

Eligibility
- Must be a graduating senior or a graduate of an Effingham County High School planning to attend college with a MAJOR in Theatrical Arts
- Must be actively involved in Theater Arts programs such as a school club, community theater, or have participated in school theater productions
- Must complete the application form and return it to FACE by May 16, 2020
The Russ and Barb Kelley Memorial Scholarship is given in memory of Russ and Barb who were a driving force for many years in FACE, especially the area of Theater Arts. Russ and Barb were involved in every FACE production, on and/or off-stage. FACE would like to recognize their dedication over the years and is proud to sponsor the
Russell & Barb Kelley Memorial Scholarship.
Bob & Jeanne Cox Memorial Scholarship for Fine Arts

Eligibility
- Must be a graduating senior or a graduate of an Effingham County High School planning to attend college with a MAJOR in Fine Arts
- Must be actively involved in Fine Arts Programs or activities (Music, Dance, Choir, Painting, Sculpture, Theatre, etc.)
- Must complete the application form and return it to FACE by May 16, 2020
Bob and Jeanne were founding members of what is now FACE. With extensive teaching backgrounds in music, they brought their love of music and the arts to Effingham. Bobby and Jeanne created THE ANNUAL FACE CHRISTMAS CONCERT, an event that has become a 35-year-old FACE tradition.
Bobby and Jeanne are no longer with us but their legacy lives on. Their dedication to the arts, our community, and our organization has been the inspiration to countless others who have embraced the fun and fellowship and dedication to expanding the cultural horizons in musical and theatrical production to our area.
