HELP WANTED: CHOIR DIRECTOR

The Fine Arts County of Effingham (FACE) is seeking a Choir Director to lead our Fine Arts Community Singers, a welcoming and inclusive community chorus. Our Community Singers perform annually and explore a wide variety of musical styles. FACE encourages anyone with a desire to sing to participate—no

auditions required. Friendship and camaraderie are expressed through the most beautiful instrument… the voice.

About the Role:

• Lead rehearsals beginning in October

• Prepare the chorus for performance alongside the FACE Orchestra

• Direct the chorus for the Annual FACE Christmas Concert

• Foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive environment for singers of all experience levels

What We’re Looking For:

• A passion for choral music and community arts

• Ability to work with a diverse group of volunteer singers

• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills

• Previous choir directing experience preferred, but not required

Friendship and camaraderie are expressed through the most beautiful instrument…The Voice. The chorus meets starting in October and together with the FACE orchestra presents the Annual FACE Christmas Concert.
